No More Accidental "Peek-A-Boos"! @PonchoBaby1

Last week, I met the founder of Poncho Baby, Carolina Toro-Gerstein.  Carolina, a mother of two, was frustrated with other nursing covers on the market.  She was inspired to create a cover with breathable material that was both stylish and multifunctional.

The Poncho Baby™ Cover is an original poncho style nursing cover that allows the mother to see the baby while feeding and provides front AND back coverage. No more accidental peek-a-boos!  It is made with  100% premium muslin cotton; two layers of very soft, thin fabric in soothing colors like black, tan & olive.  The material is light weight and besides the intended purpose, can serve as a stroller cover,  car seat canopy and a blanket.

There are two styles to choose from – the square design or the oval design.  Both have a plastic hoop around the neckline enabling you to see your baby while nursing.  Both designs also have pockets built into the underneath side of the poncho, specifically for a small cloth or nursing pads.

When I was nursing my daughter, my son was a year and a half.  Having a toddler, we were constantly on the go, and I was able to master nursing while out and about.  Since we were so active, I relied upon my baby carrier AND nursing cover.  The cover I used was was fine, however it didn’t cover my back, and was hot!  Baby and I were sweaty under that cover during the summer.  The Poncho Baby™ Cover would have been perfect!
