Food and Fun at the LA County Fair | @LACountyFair #LACFNaturalHigh

Today the LA County Fair opens with amazing rides, carnival games and of course, the food! This week I had the opportunity to sample some of the delicious eats available during September 4th – 27th and I certainly have a few favorites.

I started off the tasting at the LA County Fair with Pink’s Hot Dogs. Absolutely a favorite of mine is the “Bam Dog”, inspired by the infamous Chef Emeril Lagasse, this delicious hot dog was loaded with cheese, coleslaw, and bacon. It was so full of flavor, I was ready to head back for my second!

Next, Chicken Charlies is known for all things deep fried, however check out this amazingly beautiful and tasty Teriyaki Chicken in a fabulous pineapple bowl.

For a refreshing twist on a summer lemonade, Riccos Italian Ice was sampling their agua frescas. I couldn’t get enough of the Cucumber Lemonade that was full of delicious chunks of cucumber. If you’re a fan of a little spice, the offer their drinks with a little chile on the rim of the glass for an extra kick.

I am a huge fan of any type of nachos, so naturally, any type I have to sample! Check out these amazing potato chip nachos offered at Lori’s Concessions. Crispy, salty potato chips covered in delicious cheese, or whatever your heart desires.

And for dessert, you have to stop by Chuckwagon for their amazing Deep Fried Cinnamon Apple Rings with whipped cream. A little bite of heaven, they are the perfect way to end a fabulous meal.

You’re not going to want to miss out on the amazing tastes along with the sighs of the LA County Fair. Make sure you also hit up the livestock area too. You may get a chance to meet Cinnamon and Spice, an adorable pair of goats that are only a few weeks old.
