This weekend we had the opportunity to visit with The Easter Bunny at Irvine Park Railroad on opening weekend. The Easter Eggstravaganza will be open now through March 30th. Children and adults can ride the train through beautiful Irvine Regional Park. And, children ages 2 through 12 can participate in an Easter egg hunt. Each egg will be filled with candy or a prize.
During the Easter Eggstravaganza, children can meet the Easter Bunny at a cost of $10.00 per family or group. This cost includes a picture that will be taken by Irvine Park Railroad staff and available for pickup shortly after the picture is taken.
There are a lot of activities to participate in while visiting the Easter Eggstravaganza:
- Pictures with the Easter Bunny
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Carnival Games
- Ride The Train
- Face Painting
- Moon Bounce
- Cotton Candy and Popcorn booth
- Decorating Cookies
- Hayrides via the big green tractor
We had so much fun, as usual, playing the carnival games, decorating cookies and especially the Easter Egg Hunt that runs approximately every 30 min. It’s a great way to celebrate the holiday with family!
We “killed two birds with one stone” so to speak. Not only did we celebrate Easter, we celebrated Daddy AND Grammie’s birthdays while at Easter Eggstravaganza.
Easter egg hunts begin daily at 10:00 AM and wristbands may be purchased to participate in an egg hunt at a specific time. Please bring an Easter basket for each child that will be participating in the Easter egg hunt. Irvine Park Railroad will also offer Easter baskets and Easter Bags for sale. Tickets must be purchased on the day of the event in order to receive a wristband for the Easter egg hunt.
