Celebrate the holidays at Winter Fest OC at the OC Fair and Event Center this winter. This family fun event is Southern California’s largest winter festival. It kicked off over the weekend and runs select nights through the holiday season.
The 2024 Winter Fest OC is the home of the region’s largest outdoor ice skating rink, an 8,000-square-foot real snow play area, and a 150-foot ice tubing slide. This annual evebt brings a snowy paradise to Southern California and is a great way to celebrate the season and runs 35 select days, November through January 5th.
Winter Fest OC is great for all ages. Tickets are available at WinterFestOC.com and general admission tickets include:
- Unlimited ice tubing down Snowflake Summit’s 150-foot, 8-lane mountain of ice.
- North Pole Journey Interactive Walk-Through
- Snow Play
- Dazzling Light Show and Entertainment
TIP: Purchase your tickets in advance, online. Prices range from $34.99 – $69.99. At the gate, you can expect general admission to be $50 – $65. Children under 2 years old are free.
This year you can also purchase an Ultimate Experience Admission ticket for $89.99 – $94.99 and includes:
- Everything from General Admission PLUS!
- Unlimited Carnival Rides (excludes carnival games)
- Unlimited Inflatables
- VIP Fast Pass Snowflake Summit Ice Tubing Slide (Over 42″, no lap sitting)
Gate prices for the Ultimate Experience Admission will range from $110 to $120.
As soon as we walked in, we were guided through so many great picture opportunities, then out the the main area of the event.

Winter Fest OC is a wonderful family fun event. This is an event we have enjoyed since my kids were smaller. I recall taking the kids through the Festival of Lights as the kids skipped along picking out their favorite light displays, then visiting the bounce houses, slides, tube runs and even playing a few of the games. Now that they are older, they enjoy the opportunity to ride unlimited carnival rides, fly down Snowflake Summit, challenge each other in the carnival games, and partake in the delicious food offerings.

North Pole Journey Immersive Experience: Walk through a forest of light, Holiday Town, and Toy Workshop lands as you enter Winter Fest OC. Enjoy interactive props, engaging characters, holiday-themed games, music, and endless photo opportunities, North Pole Journey will transport attendees into the winter wonderland of Winter Fest OC.
Photos with Santa: In the Toy Workshop area, take photos with Santa through December 24. The Santa Photo Package allows you to take a photo with Old Saint Nick for $19.99, including an expedited line and one 8×10 photo print to cherish the memories of the holiday season. A separate line will be offered for guests to take complimentary photos with Santa on their own devices.
Expanded Carnival & Attractions Area: This year, Winter Fest OC expanded the holiday carnival experience featuring more than 50 thrilling rides, games, and attractions for all ages. *Additional Fee
$5 Taste of Winter Fest – Winter Value Food Specials: New this year, Winter Fest OC will be offering a $5 Taste of Winter Fest! VIP Fireside Private Igloo Rentals: Attending with a group Enjoy a cozy igloo for up to 10 guests complete with plush seating, a private fire pit, and a breathtaking view of the nightly holiday light show. Specially-themed food and drink orders can be placed when a time slot is reserved, and craft cocktails and libations can be purchased on-site at the Fireside Igloos private bar.
