Sponsored EVENT

This week, my family and I had the opportunity to witness an event over 100 million years in the making, Walking With Dinosaurs!

Walking With Dinosaurs takes you through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, when dinosaurs ruled the earth. We were introduced to lesser-known creatures, such as the Liliensternus and Torosaurus, and such beloved favorites as the Stegosaurus, and of course, the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Throughout the performance, we also learned about how the supercontinent Pangaea split apart into the separate continents, and how the landscape changed from a dry desert to a lush oasis, teeming with large and colorful plant life.

The dinosaurs were amazingly lifelike, and their movements incredibly realistic. You almost forget that they’ve been extinct for millions of years! While the larger dinosaurs moved around by way of computers and hydraulics, the smaller dinosaurs actually had puppeteers inside.

My family had an amazing time at this event. While entertaining, the show was also incredibly informative, with a little humor thrown in for good measure. As an example, my sons’ favorite part was when the narrator dug his arm into a giant pile of Torosaurus poop!

This show is great for children of all ages, though it may not be suitable for the youngest family members, or anyone who is afraid of the dark or very loud noises.

Walking With Dinosaurs The Arena Spectacular is currently showing at the Honda Center now through September 7th and at The Staples Center September 11th – 14th. For Honda Center tickets, visit ticketmaster.com, or call 800-745-3000.  For STAPLES Center please visit axs.com or call 888-929-7849.

WALKING WITH DINOSAURS THE ARENA SPECTACULAR is produced by Global Creatures headed by CEO Carmen Pavlovic. Many of our creatures have “evolved” since the last tour, now featuring distinctive display feathers, head crests and tail fans, reflecting recent discoveries about the physical nature of these massive creatures. This show remains a must-see for audiences of all ages.”
