With summer right around the corner, this time of the year I like to start planning our “Summer Bucket List” of things to do with kids in Southern California. One of the first destinations on our 2013 Summer Bucket List is definitely going to be Knott’s Soak City.

My sister and her family get annual passes to Knott’s Soak City, as they just add them to their existing Knott’s Berry Farm Annual passes. I guess it is pretty easy to do, you can get pricing info here: https://www.soakcityoc.com/season-passes. But hurry! Prices are set to go up May 27, 2013.
Since we haven’t been to Knott’s Soak City yet, I decided it was time to research the park to see what attractions would be best for beginning swimmers.
Gremmie Lagoon sounds perfect for my toddlers. It is a water playground with an interactive octopus, fun submarines and more; all designed to splash and soak the kids. Height Requirement: Must be UNDER 54 inches barefoot.
I’m also looking forward to taking them to Sunset River. It will be
fun to grab an inner tube (life vest also for little swimmers) and relax in the 1,780 ft long lazy river. Height Requirement: Guests under 42 inches must be accompanied by a responsible adult Rider Safety: Swimmers under 48 inches must wear a life vest.
For the thrill seekers there are lots of high speed, high flying rides for all age levels like: Banzai Falls, Malibu Run, Laguna Storm, Water Tower, Old Man Falls and more.
To me, seems like Knott’s Soak City is there perfect place to start our Summer vacation! Don’t you think so too? How about a giveaway…..
