If you’re in the Newport Beach area, you have to stop by Sessions West Coast Deli for some amazing sandwiches. At Sessions you’ll be immersed in the area’s surf culture while enjoying a menu of gourmet, culinary-focused sandwiches in a relaxed environment. And now, they offer a specialty menu just for the kiddos with the “Grom’s Menu”.
During a blogger family luncheon, we had an opportunity to sample a few of the Grom’s Menu items at Sessions West Coast Deli that are “just for kids’. For $7, the kids meals include a high-quality deli items in favorite kid options, shaka spuds (potato chips) and a fountain drink.
My daughter is really picky. She only likes certain types of sandwiches and rarely steps out of her comfort zone. However, when we were at Sessions, she was in rare form. She was intrigued and willing to try everything. The biggest shocker – she wanted to try the Big Tuna – Session’s version of a tuna sandwich. She absolutely LOVED it! The Big Tuna is mixed with shredded iceberg lettuce and dill pickles served on a toasted brioche bun. Finally, something we can share and both be happy!
My handsome boy devoured the Lil’ Baller, a mini meatball sandwich loaded with provolone cheese on a brioche bun. I have to admit, that was the first sandwich I wanted to sample – which was fantastic.
A few of the other Grom’s Menu options at Sessions West Coast Deli include:
- Gobbler – Turkey & Cheese Sandwich
- Ham & Cheese
- Mr. Melty – Grilled Cheese
- PB & J
- Bee El Tee
- Super Mario – Pizza Sandwich
- Lil’ Rascal – Kids Club Sandwich
- Cheese Quesadilla
The “kid approved” Grom’s Menu will be available to order by June as they are perfecting their amazing kid sandwiches. Be sure to stop by your nearest Sessions soon.

Those sandwiches looked scrumptious! I will have to go to Sessions! Thanks for sharing!
The Gobbler Turkey & Cheese Sandwich and the Super Mario Pizza Sandwich sound good to me.
