New Coaster: Rewind Racers Now Open at Adventure City

Drivers, start your engines! Adventure City has added a little speed and fun to their family friendly amusement park in Southern California with Rewind Racers.

Adventure City is a little amusement park located within the Anaheim/Stanton city borders that is BIG on FUN! They’ve recently added a whole new dimension of fun with the new Rewind Racers that opened just last week.

It all started 20 years ago as an expansion on Hobby City, which was a miniature railroad attraction and museum. Adventure City was opened in 1995 and marketed as an affordable family fun amusement park. Tree Top Racers was purchased in 1999, the rollercoaster that was recently retired and replaced with the brand new Rewind Racers, a high speed twisting, turning roller coaster.

Located towards the back of the amusement park, Rewind Racers is just past the party tree house and next to the Drop Zone. Once you’re loaded into the cars, you’re off to the races in North America’s first forward and reversing family shuttle roller coaster.

Once you’re secure in your seat, the coaster starts off going backwards – you’re pulled up the track until the race begins as you fly through the starting gates and twist and turn through the course. Once you reach the end of the track, you’re spun back through the winding course in reverse – loads of fun!

Safety First:

  • Minimum height to ride: 39 inches (when accompanied by an adult)
  • Minimum Height to ride alone: 48 inches
