It’s summertime and we love taking the family to San Diego. Usually we spend a day at SeaWorld, which we did, however this time we made a special stop at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center.
Museums are always special fun for the kiddos, especially the Science Centers as they are hands on learning and fun. The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center has a Tinkering Studio that was so much fun I couldn’t get my kids AND my husband out of for over an hour while they were building marble roller coasters.
Specifically for Toddlers ages 5 and under KidCity is a great place for them to climb, explore the Grocery Store:
or check out the fire engine at the Fire Department:
The Reuben H Fleet Center has exhibits that are available for a short time so check out their Upcoming Exhibits Page for details.

I really love the idea of a place where toddlers and very young children can run around, explore and build without being knocks over by excited, unattended 8 year olds!
Thank you for posting this! We’re taking a vacation down in Carlsbad and looking for something different to do. What a great recommendation!
