Del Valle Park

 

Del Valle Park is located on the corner of Arbor St. and Woodruff Ave. in the center of Lakewood. This popular park is also known as “Airplane Park” for the Douglas F3D “Skyknight” jet fighter proudly displayed on the southwest corner of the park. This 12-acre park is also home to a summer concert series.  Del Valle has a fenced in tot lot for 2-5 year olds with 2 separate play structures, swings, and a playhouse. It also has a playground for the 5-12 set, as well as a wading type pool that’s open during the summer. Ballfields, basketball courts, picnic benches, 3 picnic shelters, and a horseshoe pit.
