Josh will help you use your 5 senses to engage with nature as you stroll to the Redwoods and hear the story of these majestic trees and how they came to Carbon Canyon Regional Park. The walks will be every Saturday and Sunday mornings and in the afternoons. You will also get a chance to visit the Nature Center.

Come to Upper Newport Bay for our annual Earth Day celebration and see how you can make Earth Day – every day! Explore environmental exhibits, science discovery booths, live animal demonstrations and conservation films courtesy of the Newport Film Festival. Enjoy family fun with face painting, arts and crafts, food trucks, a scavenger hunt just for kids and a special Earth Day mega-mural for us to color together! There will also be live music by Danny Maika.

Activities may include non-native plant removal, trail maintenance or trash cleanup. No experience is necessary; water, snacks and tools are provided.
