With December in full swing…we’re off and running. First stop? Knott’s #MerryFarm!
For the holidays, Knott’s has transformed to park into the beautiful #MerryFarm, a tradition for locals and visitors alike. Always a fun day for the family, Knotts really gets into the holiday spirit, which we truly enjoyed. The kids? Besides the rides, they thought the shows were the best – oh, besides visiting Santa Snoopy.
“It’s Christmas, Snoopy” Ice Show – A beautiful ice skating show filled with lavish numbers and professional skaters is certain to entertain all ages.
The Bird Cage Theatre Productions shares the live story of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” and O’Henry’s “A Gift of the Magi”.
They also have many fun activities specifically for your little elves:
Peanuts Holiday Parade: See the Peanuts characters and get into the holiday spirit with beautiful floats, music and fun
Snoopy’s Magical Nights of Lights: Stroll through Camp Snoopy after dark and see thousands of twinkling white and multi colored lights
Winter Wonderland: Enjoy Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy and their pals in a wintery stage show
Calico Christmas Tree Lighting: See a musical filled show featuring the Peanuts gang and Knott’s beautiful Christmas Tree
We didn’t get a chance on this visit, because it was a little cold and wet, however, we plan to make a trip back specifically to visit their magical Santa Claus. A beautiful setting for those spectacular annual photos.
If you’re looking for that “perfect” gift – check out Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village where dozens of artisans are featuring one of a kind treasures.
Better yet – the gift of fun! Knott’s Season Passes are $69.99 and offer year-round fun with no black out dates. Take advantage of their payment plan – 6 easy payments of $11.16 (see their website for details).
With the hustle and bustle of the holidays – plan a day to visit Knott’s Merry Farm. Its certainly one way to relax and enjoy the spirit of the holidays with the family.
