Busy Families Will Love The Little Green Pouch | @LttleGreenPouch

Product Review

We are a family that is on the go ALL the time, from fun events to Dance, Baseball, Soccer and of course school.  That being said, it is difficult to get fruits, especially vegetables into my picky eaters when we’re rushing meals.  The Little Green Pouch is going to make it that much easier.

Little Green Pouch

I was really excited to receive a sample of The Little Green Pouch and now we’re big fans!  If you’ve been in the baby/toddler section of the grocery store, you may have seen; even purchased the fruit and vegetable pouches.  The Little Green Pouch takes this concept one step further.

The Little Green Pouch is just like the store bought fruit and vegetable pouches, but now YOU have the ability to customize it to your child’s palate.  Have a picky eater like me who won’t eat anything on their plate that is green?  The Little Green Pouch is a great way to get in the necessary fruits and vegetables into your youngsters, and they won’t even see it coming.

Little Green Pouch Applesauce

The Little Green Pouch comes in a four pack with an instruction card.  Really, they are simple to use.  First, you twist off the white cap (don’t worry, if you lose it, you can purchase more replacement tops) and place it in the dishwasher for cleaning.  TIP: For first use, you want to wash the product, place it on the upper rack and on the spokes in the dishwasher to prop open the pouch.  It can also be hand washed, and you may want to use a gentle bottle brush to scrub out the leftover food particles.

Opening of Little Green Pouch

To fill the pouch, you can use either a spoon, a funnel, a pitcher or even measuring cup.  We tried applesauce and had a little difficulty with the spoon, so I’d recommend trying a pitcher or measuring cup.  The seal on the package is basically a zipper – like ziplock bags. Pull the top tabs open and you can find it – luckily little ones usually can’t open them.

The Little Green Pouch

I know many parents make their own baby food.  This is a great storage option besides ice cube trays or plastic containers.  It is very easy to store in the frig or diaper bag.   Need some recipe ideas?  Recipe cards are available on their WEBSITE.

Little Green Pouch

My favorite aspect – cleanliness!!!  My kids just love apple sauce, however I am not a fan of how messy the typical individual sized containers are.  They wind up getting it all over themselves or the table because they hit the spoon or knocked over the container.  The Little Green Pouch solves this issue because it goes straight into their mouth.

Little Green Pouch

Only down side for my kids – it only holds about 6 ounces.  Of course, I didn’t think they’d finish it – so I didn’t completely fill the container.  They wanted more, and LOVED these containers!  They were sold!!!

    • My son loves to eat fruits and veggies but, like you, some of them are real messy. These would be perfect for all our outdoor adventures.
