OC International Auto Show Set to Race into Anaheim, CA October 3rd

Attention car aficionados, The Orange County International Auto Show is racing into the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, Thursday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 6th.

OC International Auto Show

The OC International Auto Show is a family friendly event will offer guests the opportunity to see more than 600 new model vehicles. For four thrilling days, the Anaheim Convention Center will be packed with the latest cars, trucks, crossovers, SUVs, commercial vehicles and alternative fuel options from more than 35 manufacturers, as well as exotics, new technologies, concept vehicles, driving simulators and more than 100 vehicles to test-‐drive at the event.

We are super excited to have the opportunity to check out hundreds of new models (my son’s favorite past time), with the hopes to even sit in an awesome new McLauren, his absolute favorite car. I’m sure it will be almost impossible to tear him away from checking out the engines, sitting in the driver’s seat of every model that is unlocked as he just LOVES that new car smell.

New models set to turn heads on the show floor include the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette, Acura Concept S, Kia HabaNiro concept, Toyota i-Road and FV2 Concepts, 2020 Audi R8 Spyder, Nissan 50th Anniversary GTR, 2020 Nissan Z-Sport Versa, 2020 Subaru Outback, 2020 Dodge Charger (Wide Body), 2020 Toyota Highlander hybrid , 2020 Jeep Gladiator, 2020 Ram 1500, 2019 Volkswagen Arteon and more.

Take the show floor experience to the next level and test-drive a lineup of all-new vehicles, right at the show. From cars to trucks, licensed drivers are invited to get a feel for the performance and handling of more than 100 new vehicles from manufacturers including Acura, Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Jeep®, Land Rover, Nissan, Ram, Toyota and Volkswagen. Or, test-drive one of the driving simulators in the manufacturer displays including the Hyundai Racing Zone VRX Simulator and the Ford SIM-ZILLA Driving Simulator by Mannetron.

Camp Jeep at OC Auto Show

Back by popular demand, Camp Jeep® Anaheim returns to the Orange County International Auto Show! My hubby liked getting a chance to drive with a professional 4×4 driver as they went on an off-road test track in a collection of new Jeep® vehicles. Climb the iconic Jeep Mountain, an 18-‐foot, 35-‐degree hill climb; three-‐wheeling over Camp Jeep’s Trail Rated Pass; and a stretch of terrain that simulates fallen logs. A collection of all-new Jeep models will be available to test on the track including the Gladiator, Wrangler Rubicon, Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, Renegade Trailhawk, Compass Trailhawk and Cherokee Trailhawk.

HotWheels Race Track

Let the kids get involved in the fun with the Camp Jeep® Anaheim Kids Test Track, as well as a climbing wall.

New this year, 4×4 fans are also invited to experience the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited, Laramie, Longhorn and Rebel trucks on an indoor off-‐road test track at the Ram Truck Test Drive Experience.

Our favorite area of the auto show: The Exotic Gallery. Get an up-close look at ultra-high-end exotic vehicles from top manufacturers in the Exotic Gallery. A multi-million-dollar collection of exotic vehicles will be showcased as “masterpieces” including the latest from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren and. Courtesy of Ferrari of Newport Beach, Lamborghini McLaren of Newport Beach. A stunning collection of premier, high-end specialty vehicles will also be featured in duPont REGISTRY™ LIVE.

New this year, a Subaru Loves Pets Pet Adoption Event will take place inside the convention center at the Subaru exhibit, to help pets find forever homes. Adorable adoptable pups will be available for adoption. In addition to the adoption opportunities, attendees are also invited to assemble rope toys for the local shelter or for their own pet, as well as create custom pet tags using the Subaru Loves Pets engraver.

The kids will have fun participating in the OC Auto Show Scavenger Hunt where they’re on the search for displays with special passes to collect stamps from the manufactures for the chance to win prizes at the Activities Center. Also, Kids can hop behind the wheel and test drive electric cars on the OC Kids Test Track at the auto show.

If you’re hungry, plan on hanging around to sample some of the delicious bites from local Food Truck Vendors that will be parked right outside the convention center.
