4th of July Celebrations – 2011

Anaheim:
12:30pm – 9:00pm
Peralta Park
Food and game booths will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. with live entertainment starting at 6 p.m.  The celebration ends with a fireworks show at Peralta Park, at 9 p.m.  There will be free shuttle buses available from the Crossroads Shopping Center to and from Peralta Park from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.

July 4   5/10K run and 2K walk will start at 7:30 a.m. at Canyon High School (on-site registration begins at 6 a.m.),
A pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Also at Canyon High School, the “Yankee Doodle” Dog Show will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the 4th of July Parade will start at 3 p.m. (begins at Canyon High School and travels West on Santa Ana Canyon Road ending at Pinney).

Aliso Viejo:
Independence Day Celebration
6:00pm – 9:30pm
Grand Park
There will be an apple pie eating contest, carnival games, band and fireworks at dusk

Brea:
County Fair
July 4th, 7am – 4pm
City Hall Park: 401 S. Brea Blvd, Brea
The event kicks off with a pancake breakfast, parade, entertainment and contest.  Kids games, a car show, petting zoo, reptile show, crafts, pony rides and more.

Cerritos: 
Let Freedom Ring Celebration
July 4th, 4pm – 9pm
Cerritos Civic Center: 18125 Bloomfield Ave, Cerritos
This free event includes food and game booths, rides, entertainment and a bell ringing ceremony.  There will be a firework show at Cerritos High School at 9pm

Cypress:
Fireworks Celebration

Held at Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos 11200 Lexington Drive (enter at Lexington Drive, South of Katella Avenue). $5 Event parking
Food Court, Sponsor Booths, Entertainment, Fireworks, Kids Fun Zone.

Dana Point:
Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza

Don’t miss one of South Orange County’s best aerial fireworks displays right here in your own back yard! Local residents are encouraged to bike or walk to their favorite viewing spot to avoid the annual parking difficulties.

4th of July Firework Cruises:
Dana Wharf Sportfishing
Enjoy a unique evening of fun on the water, complete with a live Fireworks demonstration and a delicious BBQ buffet dinner! Watch in awe as the City of Dana Point provides one of the best fireworks displays on the coast. You even get to enjoy the dynamic presentations offered by neighboring cities off in the distance as well. This trip is limited and will not be crowded! This cruise is 2 hours long and there is much savory BBQ to be enjoyed. Soda and water are included as well! A cash bar is available. $79 Adults, $39 Kids 5-12, 4 and under are FREE!

Huntington Beach:
July 4th Festivities (3 Day Pier Plaza Festival)
Including a parade, fitness expo, pancake breakfast and a fireworks show at the Huntington Beach Pier.  Visit www.hb4thofjuly.org

Laguna Hills:
July 4th Fireworks and Festival

Laguna Hills Community Center and Sports Complex
Festivities include carnival rides, food booths, kids activities, games, music and more.  Fireworks will be at 9:10pm.

Laguna Niguel:

4th of July Celebration

Events include a Beach Boys/Beatles tribute at Crown Valley Park Ampitheater, swimming during the day, community walk to Regional walk to watch fireworks and an annual run and pancake breakfast that starts at 7am

La Habra:
La Habra’s annual 4th of July Celebration

Fireworks, food vendors, live music, games, and more!

Lake Forest:
Independence Day Celebration & Parade
Pancake breakfast at 7am for $5 per person in front of El Toro High School

Parade starts at the intersection of Toledo Way and Ridge Route and will travel along Lake Forest Boulevard turn on Serrano Rd, ending at Dayton Rd.
Run/Walk Race starts at 7:30 am and is located on the corner of Lake Forest Drive and Serrano Road.

Los Alamitos:
4th of July Celebration
4:00pm
Joint Forces Training Base off of Lexington Drive & Orangewood Ave.
There will be food, entertainment, a kids zone, etc.

Mission Viejo:
4th of July Celebration

Olympiad & Marquerite
Held yearly on Olympiad Road and in the area adjoining Lake Mission Viejo, this Faire provides a classic Fourth of July celebration for the city of Mission Viejo. Carnival rides and games, food booths, drink, crafts, gifts and games. Free entertainment includes music, dance and comedy. Fireworks end the evening.

Modjeska Canyon:
4th of July Parade

Orange’s 16th Annual 3rd of July Celebration

Fred Kelly Stadium of El Modena High School: 3920 E. Spring Street
Events include a musical performance by the Orange Community Master Chorale choreographed to fireworks.  Tickets are $7 adults and children 2 and older.

Rancho Santa Margarita:
4th of July Parade & Country Fair

Sports Park in Coto de Caza
The family fun includes carnival games, disc jockey, a beer and wine garden and much, much more.

San Clemente:
Free firework show at 9pm at Municipal Pier

San Juan Capistrano:
July 4th Celebration
3:00pm – 9:00pm
Pre-Sale Wrist bands will be available June 15 – July 1 at the Community Center. Tickets and wristbands will also be available at the door. There will be “Free” old fashioned Family Games for the entire family to do enjoy along with pony rides and 4th of July photos. Food, Beer & Wine will be available to purchase. Exhibit and vendor booths will line the park grounds along with entertainment and dancing.. “Family Style” will perform on stage from 6-8:45pm, with a dance floor for dancing. Fireworks display takes place at 9pm and guests are encourage to bring blankets & chairs.

Santa Ana:
Fireworks Show July 3rd

Centennial Park: 3000 W. Edinger Ave, Santa Ana
Santa Ana High School Marching Band will perform.  Fireworks will light up the skies over Centennial Lake at 9:00pm.  Admission is FREE

Tustin:
Annual 4th of July Celebration
6:30pm, Fireworks at 9:30pm
Entertainment begins at 5:00pm. Bring your own lawn chair. Food, music and fantastic firework show. Dogs are not recommended. Fireworks begin at 9:00pm.

Yorba Linda:
Visitors are welcome to sit in the bleachers or spread out a blanket on the grass. Bring a picnic dinner with your family and friends. The Tustin Boosters will have their snack bar open for drinks, snacks and barbeque items. Limited parking
